Kenny comes from a real estate finance background and has been practicing in the industry for over 17 years. Prior to forming Blue Ocean Property Group, he has built and mastered experience in all three of the major mortgage origination platforms. These platforms include mortgage broker, mortgage banker and retail banking institutions (JP Morgan Chase, Capital One & Citibank) for residential and commercial financing. He has a proven track record of success in self origination and building high producing origination teams. In his career, he has generated in excess of 500 million dollars in loan volume.
He is also an investor in real estate and small to mid-sized businesses/companies. With his experience, he consults; provides value-added strategies to the core assets and brings visions/goals to completion by seeing things through to the end.
He dedicates his own time and resources back to the local community by serving on the Board of Directors of two major real estate trade organizations in the New York City area. These organizations include:
(CAREA) Chinese American Real Estate Association
(AREAA) Asian Real Estate Association of America
He also serves on the Board of Directors Planning Committee for Pinktie.org, which is a non-profit, 100% pass-through organization that supports breast cancer awareness in Long Island, NY. The organization builds networking events with real estate professionals to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research. The organization currently has over 2,500 real estate professional attendees for its annual event.
Recently, he continues to add to his lifetime commitment and dedication to the Asian Community by serving on the Board of Directors of LunarNYC. Headquartered in the heart of New York City; Lunar New Year Celebration™ (LunarNYC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to empower youth between the ages of 5 and 25, while promoting Diversity, Love, Unity, Peace and Prosperity. LunarNYC aims to unite those who love the Asian culture under one global brand.

Khant Lwin is a real estate professional that has been practicing in the industry for over 10 years. Prior to co-founding Blue Ocean Property Group, he has worked in multiple positions within real estate. He has experience in Residential & Commercial Mortgages, Investment Sales and specializes in Distressed Assets (both as a distributor and an investor himself). Early in his career, he worked as a high producing loan officer at a mortgage brokerage and built his way up to managing over 75 originators and staff. He has also served positions within institutional retail banking organizations. Since then, he has moved onto successfully building investor relations and origination teams for multiple real estate companies that distribute distressed real estate assets, nationwide.
He is a proud Myanmar/American citizen and gives back to the community by helping his family
throw events for the “National Humanitarian Fundraising for Myanmar” non-profit organization.
Chief Operating Officer
Danny Liu is a Licensed Associate Broker that has over 15 years of property management experience in the New York City area. Early in his career, he has worked as a licensed real estate agent for Remax Realty by assisting international investors purchase property in America. He has moved on to building a long term, successful career within the LeFrak Organization which is a New York City-based, privately-held, family-run company that owns, develops, and manages real estate.
He has overseen by personal origination or management in excess of 3,500 leasing transactions for residential and commercial properties throughout his career. He is also an experienced investor by buying, fixing & flipping or holding & managing distressed assets since 2006.
Mohammad Hadla brings forth a distinguished career in real estate finance & acquisition to Blue Ocean Property Group’s as managing director. Since graduating Rutgers University in 2001, he has been immersed in both commercial & residential transactions. He has covered a broad spectrum of channels in real estate including development & renovation projects. This vast array of experience allows him to multitask and manage the many moving ancillary parts of what it takes to for a transaction or project to be completed.
Having worn multiple hats from founding a real estate brokerage, running a mortgage brokerage firm, or getting his corporate polish as a private client banker at institutions such as Wells Fargo & JP Morgan Chase, Mohammad believes strongly that fostering long lasting relationships with clients & employees comes with keen attention to people’s needs & concerns. He prides himself in problem solving & designing creative solutions." There must be a value add in the relationship!”, he loves to say.
Coming from a humble home where his father worked 60-70 hour weeks to make ends meet while his mom raised him & his five siblings, Mohammad understands the value of time & money. With that said, he believes approaching every business transaction as if it were for family is the best way to treat and protect a client, their assets, & their liabilities. He is looking forward to collaborating with the Blue Ocean Property Group on the exciting opportunities that lay ahead.
When he is a way from the action, Mohammad loves to spend time traveling exploring the many beautiful lands & flavorful meals this world has to offer. An avid sports fan from childhood, he finds great joy in following the New York Yankees & the Chicago Bears. He finds leisure in golf and spending time with family & old time friends.

Peter Chang is a real estate professional that has been in the industry for over 12 years. He started off in the construction industry as an apprentice and after 7 years, worked his way up to Supervisor/Foreman at a construction company responsible for some of the new development projects in Brooklyn. He then became a real estate agent and opened his own franchise of Rapid Realty. He has built strong relationships with over 3 Thousand landlords throughout New York City. With his expertise and experience, he brings tremendous value to our client base.
Michael has over 20 years of experience in the Mortgage Industry. He began his career with the legendary investment bank Bear, Stearns & Co. in the back office in 1997. He was quickly promoted and completed the Fixed Income Analyst Program while working in the Mortgage Department. Michael was assigned to the Financial Analytics and Structured Finance Group (F.A.S.T.). The group analyzed commercial and residential mortgages with sole purpose of using their cash flows to group them together and create Bonds. He participated in the structuring and issuance of billions of dollars in CMBS and MBS deals at his time with Bear.
As the mortgage business evolved, Investment Banks began to create their own mortgage divisions and this led to him to be recruited by Lehman Brothers, where he helped create and sell mortgage products directly to mortgage brokers and direct lenders. The goal was to create multiple sources of mortgages to securitize and create Mortgage Backed Bonds, while cutting out the middle men and controlling quality of the mortgages. He quickly became a leading producer and went on to work for Lehman affiliates and other small banks in an effort to develop products, builds sales teams and open new develop new territories. Michael was a Top Producing Sales Manager and estimates to have originated over $1 Billion dollars in commercial and residential mortgages with his extensive list of client mortgage brokers and direct lenders.
These years of experience allow Michael to analyze any lending scenario and structure a mortgage where the borrower and the lender are satisfied. Our client is always our main focus, but if a mortgage is structured in a way that makes it attractive to a private lender, a small portfolio bank, as well as a large international investment bank, our clients have more options. More options create more opportunity for our clients. Michael is a graduate of Iona College with a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Majoring in Finance.

Ken is a real estate professional that has been in the industry for over 10 years. He started his career in residential and commercial finance and has since moved onto becoming a licensed real estate agent specializing in distressed properties.
He served as a Director at his previous company, dealing with investor packages nationwide. His experience allows us to offer the superior knowledge to identifying value for our investors.
Consultant - Managing Director of Non QM Production
Prior to joining Blue Ocean Property Group, Yihou was the Vice President of Residential Lending at Sterling Bank & Trust. She had over 10 years of experience in the banking business.
At Sterling Bank & Trust, she was responsible for creating the Advantage Loan Program and has mentored over 50 loan officers from coast to coast. Her individual loan production was over $200 Million in loan volume of 2007. This placed her at the top of the 2017 AREAA A-List for Top Mortgage Originators. Yihou is currently working with different banks and funding groups as a consultant, focusing on building teams and secondary market sales.
Sarah Tadros is a Licensed Attorney admitted to the New York & New Jersey Bar Associations. She currently owns and runs her own practice, Tadros-Awad, P.C. Prior to starting Tadros-Awad, P.C. Sarah practiced law in the real estate transactional arena and in various areas of civil litigation including Matrimonial Law.
Sarah’s hands on experience is valuable to her application of the law particularly within real estate and her real estate finance background gives her the added advantage when advising clients. While working at a midtown Manhattan law firm Sarah acquired extensive experience in the areas of real estate transactional work, along with commercial, real estate, contract, family and landlord tenant litigation. Sarah is also fluent in spoken Arabic.
Tom Leslie Li was born in Manhattan, New York in October of 1994. By the time he attended college at SUNY Stony Brook University, he had already found an interest in music & video production. Although he was determined to become an electronic music producer / DJ at the time, he had always felt an inclination towards the arts. Similarly to the arts, Tom has always had a deep gratitude and appreciation for the beautiful world we live in. Everybody on this earth has experienced their own form of love, loss, bravery & fear; we all have a story to tell. Shedding light on the many personal stories that exist out there has always been a deep motivation for his pursuing video production.
